Link your Sobi2 entries with the layar application for iPhones and android phones. Not need knowledge in development to create a new layer based on your Sobi2.
The plugin install all you need to link your Sobi2 base with layar, you need just to custom your layer on Layar.com and link your layer with the gateway file. With the plugin backend you can configure the latitude and longitude fields, and what custom field, category list or metadata you want to describe the layar object.
It's possible to link the entry image, logo or first gallery image. If no image you can set a default image.
You can select the entries to display on layar based on a custom field based filter.
What is Layar?
The Layar Reality Browser shows what is around you by displaying real time digital information on top of the real world as seen through the camera of your mobile phone. This technology is called Augmented Reality. Layar augment the real world as seen through your mobile phone, based on your location. At this moment layar support all Android devices the iPhone 4 and the iPhone 3GS. A Symbian version is in development. Your phone needs an internet connection, camera, GPS and compass to be able to use Layar. We also recommend a flat-fee data subscription.
