We give information about which possibilities there are, what kind of equipment they need, where they can find specific golf locations and we offer them free theoretical practice exams.

Why this website

This case-study is to show how and why the Back to Normandy website was built. This website has existed for 10 years. The site originally started to publish my music about D-Day. I shared the small videos I made during the commemorations (with the veterans) in Normandy, France. During those years the music spread out all over the world and it was downloaded hundreds of thousands times. All the videos and music is still downloadable in "demos". My music is available in one package with more than 3 hours of music. But there was more to tell about D-Day and beyond.

Livingforgolf is a web site that is still in development it is a fast growing golf course database with the project looking to add every golf course in Great Britain. The website is currently using Joomla 2.5 with various modules and extensions. We are currently using phpbb free open source bulletin board software for our forums which has been fully modified to give the forums a golf theme.

The Radius Search allows you to add a field into the native SobiPro search form to be able to add both centerpoint and radius distance criteria to the SobiPro search function. It works in conjunction with and is entirely integrated with that form. You can search just by radius distance or with any combination of native SobiPro search criteria.

The main features are :

• Select any address arrount the world as center point (no additionnal database installation)
• Locate me function as center point
• Customisable radius values and unit (Kilometers, Miles, Nautical miles)
• Customisable search field label
• Show distance from center on Sobipro vCard's 
• Full customisable distance display on vCars (1025.587 km, 1'025,6 km, 1.026km, ...)
• Priority area for selecting center point (if the area is Texas USA, then typing Paris, return Paris, TX, and not Paris, France)
